What can I say about Kaitlyn and Sheldon’s New Orleans City Park Oaks Elopement?! Actually, I can say quite a lot. This was a dream wedding for me. Sunday morning, meeting in the park before it gets busy, the gorgeous sun coming through the trees, the sweetest and most gorgeous bride Kaitlyn, and the absolute personality (I mean, look at the outfit) of Sheldon, and the glue that held it together my wonderful friend/officiant Ranna. A DREAM.
Kaitlyn and Sheldon came to the park earlier in the day and scoped out the trees and I have to say, they picked an excellent one.
The sweetest personal vows. Ranna and I both teared up.
Pure joy!
New Orleans City Park was really showing off for these portraits!
The beautiful Ranna McSwain from Let’s Elope New Orleans officiated the ceremony – and had to get some hugs in at the end!
After City Park, it was time to head to the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter – fortunately it was a Sunday morning, so the vibe was chill and fun!
Their wedding dinner was on the Steamboat Natchez, so obviously we had to take some pictures in front of it! I think Sheldon’s hat fit right in.
My favorite part of photographing portraits in the French Quarter is all the gorgeous colors (and light!) – we had the best fun chasing around houses that complimented their style and outfits!
