Sydney and Aidan had a beautiful sunset elopement in New Orleans Audubon Park.
Sydney and Aidan took some time for private vows before their family joined them. It was so sweet! I love this idea and don’t see it often.
The Tree of Life was the perfect place for their ceremony – this is a seriously magical tree! Sometimes called the Etienne de Bore Oak, the tree is one of the oldest live oaks in the city. Legend has it that the first mayor of New Orleans planted the tree on his daughter’s wedding day as a gift.
As you can tell, we perfectly timed their ceremony to the sunset so the light was absolutely perfect.
The light! I mean!
After the ceremony, we explored some of my other favorite places in Audubon Park for portraits.
Sydney’s gorgeous bouquet was made by Harkins Florist.
Congratulations Sydney and Aidan! So happy for you and honored I got ot be a small part of it.
