Paige and Maxwell had the sweetest Bywater elopement followed by dinner at Antoine’s! They rented a gorgeous house (right around the corner from mine, actually!) with a stunning courtyard which was the perfect backdrop.
I love watching parents for these sweet moments.
The wedding was officiated by one of my favorite people, Ranna McSwain at Let’s Elope New Orleans.
How cute are Paige and Max’s facial expressions here?! You could tell the vows were gold.
Soooo much joy! After the ceremony, we of course had to celebrate with a champagne toast. It was quite warm outside, so the cool air was a nice break, too!
Doris Ione did the beautiful bouquet – I always love seeing her flowers, because she’s a long-time friend who did my personal wedding flowers, too!
With its vibrant street art, colorful shotgun-style houses, and relaxed, eclectic vibe, the Bywater is such a great place for photos – and often overlooked! I love guiding couples through this neighborhood to capture the creative spirit of New Orleans, and most of these portraits were taken right in the courtyard of their darling house!
After the Bywater, it was time to cross the Marigny and head to the French Quarter for one of the most classic of all New Orleans dinners – Antoine’s!
We had to take advantage of the Antoine’s balconies for some gorgeous portraits overlooking Bourbon Street. And can you believe these beautiful arrangements, also from Doris Ione?! Everyone settled in for dinner, toasts, and drinks – the perfect end to the perfect elopement day.
