City Park + Ralph’s On The Park Wedding

Natalie and Aaron’s wedding started with their ceremony at New Orleans City Park and ended with dinner at Ralph’s on the Park – my favorite combo.

Natalie chose a muted and moody color palette for her bouquet – it was stunning! I also loved Aaron’s all-black suit. I had never seen a groom where that, and now I’m obsessed!

Natalie and Aaron traveled in for their wedding in New Orleans (as most couples do), and City Park was the perfect meeting spot for all their guests – it’s literally in the middle of the city and so close to every other neighborhood.

We did some pre-ceremony portraits at the Butler Fountain, and then chose a spot for the ceremony – right in the middle of towering oak trees with dripping Spanish moss.

When couples elope in City Park, I’m able to provide them with such a variety of scenes in such a short time. As the day goes on, the light shifts, giving each new scene a unique glow. City Park offers so much within its 1,300 acres, making possibilities truly endless. After portraits, it was time to get married!

Some of my favorite vow photos I’ve ever taken.

Congratulations Natalie and Aaron!

As we finished up our time in City Park, we simply walked across City Park Avenue to another New Orleans institution – Ralph’s on the Park. I can smell the rolls now.

Ralph’s features grand arched windows, glittering chandeliers, and sprawling outdoor terraces framed by majestic oaks – and some damn good food. With several private rooms upstairs, it’s the perfect gathering place for an intimate wedding or elopement.

I love how truly JOYFUL Natalie and Aaron were all day!
