New Orleans City Park Bridge Elopement

This elopement in New Orleans’ City Park Bridge is one of my all-time favorites. Tori and Spencer had what I call a *classic* elopement – they literally got married on Sunday afternoon and went back to work on Monday!

City Park elopements are so effortlessly elegant – just like Tori and Spencer.

The sun really wanted to show off for our post-ceremony portraits in the park! I absolutely love photographing on this side of City Park – the towering oak trees, Spanish moss, and bridges give so much variety just within a few steps (making it so easy to capture so much).

After City Park, it was time to head to a different location – my old neighborhood, the Bywater!

With its vibrant street art, colorful shotgun-style houses, and relaxed, eclectic vibe, the Bywater is such a great place for photos – and often overlooked! I love guiding couples through this neighborhood to capture the creative spirit of New Orleans. This little corner of New Orleans is full of gems just waiting to provide a cool, artistic backdrop – just like this blue truck!

Since we were in the Bywater, we had to stop at Crescent Park! Spanning nearly one and a half miles on the Mississippi river, the park provides sweeping views of the downtown skyline while connecting the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods via lush walking paths – perfect for pictures.

PS – liked this City Park elopement? Here’s another one!
