Can you even with Crystal and Camille’s engagement session in the Marigny?! I truly can’t. Photographed right before their joint engagement/going away party, when I arrived their house was in boxes and their backyard was being transformed to host their closest family and friends.
Times of transition always bring such emotion to the surface – joy, uncertainty, excitement, anxiety, it’s all there – and it’s made so much easier and sweeter when you have someone to share in all of that with. Crystal and Camille are embarking on a new adventure that includes a new job, a residency, a new city, new home, and of course – a wedding.
We visited some of their favorite places in their neighborhood (and mine too – we literally walked by my office while photographing!) which is honestly my favorite thing to do in a session. We had to stop at Ayu Bakehouse, obviously. I hope these pictures remind them of their time in New Orleans for years to come.
