Jessie + Mike traveled in to New Orleans from Michigan for their sunrise elopement at the Tree of Life! I was so excited that they were enthusiastic about an early ceremony – the light is so good, and then they got to celebrate (and day drink) the rest of the day!
Jessie did her own hair and makeup, and looked absolutely beautiful!
It was so early (we met at 8am), we had the entire park to ourselves – it was so peaceful.
Ranna from Let’s Elope New Orleans was there to make it all official!

After the ceremony, we took more portraits by the Tree of Life – look at that gorgeous sunlight!
After that, we headed across town for some portraits in the French Quarter – still very quiet! We had full run of the place and took advantage of it.
One of my favorite things about New Orleans is how lush and green even the city is in all seasons – I loved finding pockets of that nature throughout the French Quarter as we took pictures.
After our stop at Crescent Park, we checked out Marigny Opera House.
