This gorgeous French Quarter elopement took place in a hidden courtyard right after sunrise on Sunday morning – and I don’t know if you’re ready for how gorgeous these images are! (If I do say so myself!)
THe quarter was incredibly quiet at 8am on a Sunday!
This was my first time photographing an elopement at Hotel Maison de Ville and it was amazing – the perfect location and a stunning and private courtyard!
I’d met Danielle before through the creative community in New Orleans, and even photographed some headshots for her! When she reached out about her September wedding, I was sadly already booked – but then, their plans changed and they moved the wedding up a few months! I was so excited to be able to photograph her and Derek’s sweet elopement.
The courtyard was incredibly lush – the perfect place for this sweet ceremony.
Ranna from Let’s Elope New Orleans did a stunning job, as always!
Love the golden light of sunrise!
The beautiful bride Danielle is an incredible artist – check her work out here!
After the ceremony, we took a walk around the block as businesses began opening up and took advantage of the quiet streets.
I loved Danielle’s dress – the color was perfect for the quarter!
One of my favorite buildings in the quarter!
Couldn’t help but document all the evidence from the Saturday night parties – don’t worry, the street sweeper was right behind us. Congratulations Danielle + Derek!
