French Quarter Elopement

Erin + Justin’s French Quarter elopement took place on a crisp and clear day here in New Orleans! The Quarter was nearly empty – just a few musicians, some locals walking their dogs, and this sweet couple ready to make it official!

I love working with Ranna McSwain of Let’s Elope New Orleans – she is such a kind, warm, and generous spirit!

Erin and Justin knew each other since high school, when Erin became best friends with Justin’s younger sister. Many years went by before they ever started dating – and when they did, they quickly fell in love. This was a “true elopement” – their friends and family had no idea they had traveled to New Orleans to elope!

The sweetest kiss! They both teared up and so did I!

Erin decided she wanted flowers last minute, and picked these up at the neighborhood grocery store! They worked great!

I think I have more photos of Erin + Justin laughing together than any other couple I’ve photographed!

I asked Erin + Justin to show me how they’d tell their families they just got married – I love these expressions!
