Kylie + Brody’s elopement at Sully Mansion here in New Orleans was absolutely joyous! This wasn’t their Plan B wedding… or even their Plan C wedding… pretty sure it was at least three or four variations away from their original pre-COVID plans. And yet, it’s hard to imagine their marriage beginning in any other way than this incredibly beautiful day!
Who knew hand sanitizer would be THE wedding must have of 2020?! (Also, a stack of masks – naturally.)
Kylie wore Brody’s baby bracelet as her something blue (pinned to her dress – so sweet). She also had family heirlooms pinned to her beautiful bouquet like these handkerchiefs and silver spoon.
Brody’s TWIN brother officiated! When Kylie arrived, both of the boys started crying!
What a colorful group! Just parents and siblings (and one very adorable niece and nephew) attended and it was the perfect size.
Doris Ione put together the most beautiful and colorful blooms that set a beautiful and colorful tone for the entire day!
The Sully is truly one of my favorite places to photograph in New Orleans (and just – be! I just want to go there and hang out!).
We took a short walk around the block for portraits with Kylie + Brody. The Sully is just around the corner from a very dear apartment I lived in for a couple years, and I spent nearly every morning taking a long walk noticing all the best lil nooks and crannies for pictures – Kylie + Brody were very kind to let me lead them around for a bit after their ceremony!
All this green is so lush!
We had a very adept little helper.
We had to go up to St Charles and hit the “pink condos” as I call them – especially after I saw Kylie’s colorful bouquet!
Twelve Seasons put together the perfect dinner for Kylie + Brody and their family.
