French Quarter New Orleans Elopement

I heard from Whitney a few months into quarantine as she began planning her French Quarter elopement in New Orleans. She and Billy were ready to get married, even if it had to be small, even if only their closest people could be there. It turned out to be a magical couple of hours, we had Jackson Square totally to ourselves!

Whitney and Billy’s parents were able to attend, and Whitney’s dad walked her down the “aisle”!

The lovely Michele Zeller officiated the ceremony. She’s one of my favorites!

As soon as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the street band around the corner began playing a song for their first dance. Doesn’t get more magical than that!

A new staple of 2020 weddings: a Zoom call!

We took a stroll around the quarter for their portraits before they went to dinner with their family. In early July, a few bars were open for a short time and they were able to share a drink at their favorite New Orleans bar to celebrate.
