Nicolette + Eric (and their extremely adorable dachshund, Raggedy) flew down to New Orleans for a “true” elopement in City Park – meaning, they didn’t tell ANYONE! Their friends all thought they were just on vacation!
Pop of Love (New Orleans’ first all inclusive elopement company I co-founded) works with couples all across the “elopement secrecy” spectrum – but I don’t think we’d ever done one that was a total secret with absolutely zero guests (minus Raggedy, of course!) before! It was so fun!
I was pretty excited about Raggedy. He looks so much like my dachshund, Gus!
Raggedy knows he’s the star of this portrait!
Nicolette + Eric added some extra photography time with me, which meant after their beautiful City Park ceremony we headed down to the French Quarter to get a different side of the city in their portraits. Those moments are always my favorite!

Thanks so so much! You guys were both so amazing, and everything exceeded my expectations. And the photos are BEAUTIFUL! I’m so excited to show our families. It really was the most wonderful day, and I cannot thank you enough.
The French Quarter is gorgeous at any time of day – and since New Orleans is very small (geographically), it’s easy to pop over for portraits no matter where your ceremony is.
