When Claire told me she was getting married at New Orleans Felicity Church, I couldn’t wait to take her bridal photos there! Claire is a dear friend of mine and I knew she wanted me to be able to attend her wedding as a guest (thanks, Claire!) but I’m so honored we were able to do her bridal portraits together a couple months before the wedding!
When people ask Claire and I how we met, we both look at each other quizzically – how DID we meet?! We have had mutual friends for over a decade, attended the same church (at different times), got into the same profession (also, at different times), went to Cuba (okay, that was together) – Claire is one of those friends I don’t get to see often but when I do, we pick RIGHT back up where we left off. I am more and more thankful for friends like that!
The light was absolutely beautiful in the late afternoon – truly the best time to take bridal photos!
When Claire + Murray got engaged, I was so honored that Claire asked me to do her bridals. We did them at Felicity Church, one of my favorite wedding venues and also where I attend church on Sundays!
After Felicity Church, we headed to the New Orleans French Quarter and captured a few more bridal photos as the sun was setting.
Claire, love you so much my sweet friend and so happy to see you married to Murray!
