Justine + Brent’s wedding at The Gallery at the Chicory in New Orleans was classic in every way! The Chicory was built in 1852 as a coffee warehouse, and now is one of the biggest venues in New Orleans! It’s such a unique space (and the food – oh my gosh – the food!!) right in the middle of the Central Business District next to the French Quarter. Justine lived here in New Orleans for a while working in the event industry, and now she and Brent live in Los Angeles. I love that they came back here for their wedding, bringing all their friends and family with them!
Ronnie Roux, Kinfolk Brass Band | Desserts: Sucre
All of the planning and coordination was done by my dear friend, Brooke Casey!
Sucre put together a gorgeous array of desserts for the sweets table!
The beautiful bouquet was done by Poppy & Mint.
How elegant! Justine’s hair and make up was done by Rocket Science and her dress is Trashy Diva, a New Orleans staple!
The Chicory was a beautiful backdrop for our portrait time, and we also walked the block for ten minutes (doesn’t take long!) to get some different shots!
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!”
– Dr. Suess, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” read during Justine + Brent’s ceremony!
Justine + Brent, oh the places you’ll go!
