Audubon Park New Orleans Elopement

Chris and Nicole flew in from California for their New Orleans elopement, and Audubon Park showed up and showed off for them!

Chris and Nicole chose the Tree of Life for their ceremony. The tree is one of the oldest live oaks in Audubon Park, and the city’s lore says the tree was planted by the first mayor of New Orleans as a wedding gift to his bride.

The ceremony was officiated by the lovely Michelle at Just Married Y’all.

Woohoo, they’re officially married! Chris and Nicole immediately started waving to the crowd (of zero) – I truly laughed out loud.

After the ceremony, it was time to explore Audubon Park for portraits! There are so many beautiful places in the park to photograph.

Boots are always a good call for the park – it was a bit muddy!

We walked from the Tree of Life over to the oak grove and the fountain. The ceremony was timed perfectly to the sunset, so we got so many gorgeously lit images!

Chris and Nicole are way too cool for me!

Congratulations, Chris and Nicole! Thank you so much for having me!
