City Park and Cemetery Elopement

Lora and Chris chose to have their New Orleans elopement in City Park, with portraits at the cemetery close by! We met at Cafe du Monde (yes I did have a frozen cafe au lait before we got started) and explored the park for some portraits before ceremony time. I loved the spooky yet elegant vibe they had going on!

I also loved the moody bouquet and color pallette – worked so well with all the lush greens of the park!

Everything just looked so rich and lush on their wedding day.

I also had to do some more dramatic black-and-whites due to their style and I love how they came out!

The park was busy, but it didn’t stop Lora and Chris!

Then it was ceremony time! They exchanged the sweetest and funniest vows.

Officially married!

After a quick pit stop at the iconic City Park gates (again, felt it fit the vibe), we popped over to the cemetery on Esplanade. It was already closed, but it didn’t stop us from getting some great pictures from outside!

Yes, their ring box is shaped like a coffin.

For anyone wondering yes, this was an October wedding! Ha! I loved the angel statues and how they interplayed in each frame. Really cool!

Congratulations again Lora and Chris! Thank you for having me!
