Renee and Chuck ran away to New Orleans for their elopement in Pirate’s Alley! Located in the French Quarter right by Jackson Square, Pirate’s Alley is a magical passageway perfect for small elopements. Some people claim it’s haunted, but we didn’t run into any ghosts with Renee and Chuck!
Renee was absolutely stunning in her vintage white dress she picked up in their hometown of Chicago.
My favorite, Ranna from Let’s Elope New Orleans, officiated the ceremony!

After the ceremony, we spent some time exploring the French Quarter for more elopement portraits.
We walked past my favorite bookstore (Faulkner House Books) and the Absinthe Bar – both right around the corner from Pirate’s Alley.
Renee and Chuck, it was an honor to photograph this sweet event and I love seeing how happy and truly joyous you are together!
I couldn’t believe how empty Jackson Square was – we had all these alleys to ourselves!
After our time together, Renee and Chuck were meeting up with some friends to surprise them with the big news and see some live music – the perfect way to celebrate.
