How to Elope at Court of the Two Sisters

Wondering how to elope at Court of Two Sisters?

This blog post runs down the most frequently asked questions and gives you all the information you need to make your wedding plans at one of my favorite courtyards in all of New Orleans! Have a question that isn’t answered? Drop me a line!

Why should we elope at the Court of Two Sisters?

Court of the Two Sisters is a magical oasis located in the most active part of the French Quarter. It’s been a restaurant since at least the 1920s, and an important piece of architecture for decades before that. It’s perfectly located in the middle of all the action, while also feeling perfectly removed from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St.

What time of day is best?

I always recommend  an hour or two before sunset for the best lighting – a stroll around the property and the block for couple portraits after your ceremony is a must!

What do I need to bring?

Yourselves, your marriage license, and an officiant! Click here to learn more about obtaining a marriage license in New Orleans. I’m also happy to give you my personal recommendations for wonderful officiants – just send me a message.

Will you photograph my elopement?

Yes! I absolutely love photographing elopements. Learn more about my elopement coverage here and get in my inbox!
