I’m so excited to share this Vacherie wedding with you today! Emily + Patrick are adventurers. For Emily’s wedding gift, Patrick got them kayaks to use on Bayou St John (when I first met Emily + Patrick, we lived in two different neighborhoods but have both found our way to MidCity!). On their honeymoon, I constantly saw snaps of hikes and expeditions into the Puerto Rico wilderness.
When the rain came pouring down on their wedding day, they put on their Chacos and kept dancing. I can’t say enough good things about these two or this day. Congratulations, Emily + Patrick – I know your marriage will be your best adventure yet!

Emily + Patrick had their first look (and reception!) and a private family home in Vacherie and it was absolutely stunning. I loved that red door!
St. Philip Catholic Church was the absolute quaintest church – I absolutely fell in love with it!
Emily cried and so did I!
