This elopement in the New Orleans French Quarter was classic for so many reasons! Ceremony in Jackson Square? Check! Romantic carriage ride through the historic streets? Check!
From the first moment I talked to Susan, we totally hit it off! She was so sweet talking about eloping with Kevin, saying that she found a tiara, a dress, and then it snowballed from there!
We started out the afternoon with a carriage ride (thanks, Brown Sugar the horse!) through the quarter and it Kevin + Susan got a LOT of attention! Local workers and partying tourists alike yelled out their congratulations throughout the ride and kept us laughing.
My first time to photograph a carriage ride – I think it went pretty well!
Gotta do the princess wave!
We joined up with a few of their friends and family members for a beautiful and simple ceremony on the lawn – Kevin + Susan both wrote their own vows dedicated to their “once in a lifetime love” and more than one tear was shed.
What a view of St Louis Cathedral for their vows!
The sweetest ceremony – so honored to have been a small part of it!
