This elopement in New Orleans City Park truly shows how moody and romantic City Park can be! I love how versatile (and inexpensive!) this venue is; it makes it the perfect choice for so many couples. Lacey + Tim hired the all-inclusive elopement company I co-founded, Pop of Love, to handle all the details.
Tim was able to greet all their twenty guests personally as they arrived – I loved all these sweet moments he shared with his family!
We planned the ceremony for about an hour before sunset, which made for these perfect golden hour first look portraits!
When Lacey and Tim first reached out to us, they were planning a wedding in their hometown. However, once Lacey found out she was pregnant (hurray!) the stressful details of wedding planning became even more stressful. With New Orleans just a short drive away, she reached out to us to help plan a small but perfectly intimate ceremony!
Does it get more romantic than this bridge in City Park?! What a wonderful place for wedding day photos!
Lacey’s beautiful bouquet was created by Doris Ione.
I loved all these soft romantic details – City Park was the perfect backdrop for Lacey + Tim’s style.
Lacey’s sister worked with us to surprise her sister with a second line with Lagniappe Brass Band after the ceremony – it was such a joyous addition to the day!
I absolutely loved their umbrellas – another sweet gift from Lacey’s sister!
The second line led right to Morning Call (now Cafe du Monde) where the guests enjoyed beignets! What a way to end the ceremony!
