This elopement in the Garden District of New Orleans is absolutely breathtaking! Jason + Megan met in their mutual work in the advertising industry. While they live in Portland, they flew to New Orleans with thirteen of their closest friends and family to elope this past Friday.
Jason + Megan got ready at the Grand Victorian Bed & Breakfast on St. Charles and although I had only met them via Skype I felt like one of the family instantly!
Megan’s style is incredible and being there as she got ready was such a dream to photograph!
Poppy & Mint did Megan’s beautiful flowers, and her hair and make-up was done by Rocket Science.
After their first look, we headed to Audubon Park where Megan’s mom (who also happens to be a pastor!) Tammy officiated their short and heartfelt ceremony.
Megan’s sweet mom Tammy officiated!
I love this shot of them walking away – they weren’t sure where to go!
They’re married!
These photos could have been taken in 2015 or 1950 and I absolutely love that! Megan’s bridal style are all of my goals!
Audubon Park is full of gorgeous old oak trees like this!
An ice cream truck rolled up right after the ceremony, and we couldn’t resist!
After, we all headed uptown to celebrate with a delicious meal at Lilette!
So many congratulations, Jason + Megan! Couples like you are the reason I do what I do!
