One of the greatest things about photographing a New Orleans wedding (including this one at the Degas House!) is becoming a member of the family for the day. I so felt that with Danny + Sarah, largely in part to many emails I exchanged with Sarah’s mom, Bonnie, before the wedding! Celebrating with them was so special for me and despite threats of rain and a timeline change a bit last minute, the day went incredibly and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out! Danny + Sarah, I’m so happy for the two of you (and so happy we live in the same neighborhood now!) and know you will be so happy together!
Sarah’s beautiful dress is by Casablanca .
I was so excited for the first look! We did this downtown in Fulton Alley.
We popped down to Jackson Square to do wedding party photos before the ceremony! I’m so glad Sarah + Danny took my advice to do a first look, it allowed us to capture all these different portraits and backdrops with their closest friends.
Poppy + Mint did a gorgeous job on the flowers!
They took this fun streetcar to Our Lady Of The Guadalupe Catholic Church for the ceremony!
Toasts are always my favorite part of any reception! The Pick 6 Band kept everyone dancing!
