Shane + Alison had the most beautiful wedding at Oak Alley Plantation outside of New Orleans! I rarely shoot night weddings, but when I do, they are as elegant and sophisticated as this! I photograph a lot of destination couples who come in from all over the world to get married in New Orleans. It is always so fun to hear the guests and wedding party talk about the city! Shane + Alison are both sweethearts and are obviously so in love – their photos are so full of joy and heart and they made it easy to capture how much they love each other.
Shane + Alison sent this to me a couple weeks after the wedding: “Sarah is an amazing artist and a true professional! We could not be more thrilled with our wedding/engagement pictures. I will cherish the photographs that she took for many years to come. Sarah has a gift at capturing those perfect moments, and I cannot stop looking through my wedding pictures because her photos take me right back to that moment. Sarah was excellent at communicating with us throughout the entire planning process. Sarah is upbeat and flexible. She will also have your back in a crisis! Working with Sarah Becker was an absolute pleasure (and my fiance and I HATE taking pictures). I only wish that I had another big life moment in the future for Sarah to capture!”
These words + these photographs make my heart happier than I can say. Congratulations, Alison + Shane!
The elegant invitations were William Arthur.
Verde Beauty Salon handled all the hair and make-up!
Pretty Petals made the stunning bouquet! I especially loved the orange accents!
Alison’s stunning dress was Leeann Belter – it looked especially amazing in the sunset!
Papa C & the Slammin’ Horns kept everyone dancing – especially these two!
