Cliff + Kay’s elopement at The Degas House in New Orleans was a long time coming – they met eighteen years ago in school! Cliff says it was as close to love at first sight as you could get. Kay was (and is) beautiful, intelligent, and he was head over heels. Kay? Not so much at first! But, after they reconnected last year, they found that they had grown into people who were perfect for each other.
On a roadtrip to visit Kay’s family, they stopped in New Orleans. That trip stayed with them as their relationship progressed, and when they got engaged they knew the wedding should take place in New Orleans. I am so glad they chose to get married here and chose me as their photographer. It was the sweetest day. I know Cliff + Kay will have a wonderful and sweet life together – so honored to have witnessed what is only the beginning.
Poppy & Mint did the stunning tropical flowers!
Kay’s beautiful dress is Maggie Sottero.
They planned the ceremony for right after sunset, taking advantage of all the romantic lights at the Degas House!
