Maison Lafitte Wedding

I was so honored to photograph Mallory and Ben’s wedding at Maison Lafitte in Mandeville! Less than an hour away from New Orleans, it feels like a totally different world. I started the day hanging out with Ben and his groomsmen:

Ben’s mom came over to pin his boutonnière – loved these sweet moments they shared together before the ceremony.

After snapping some shots of the dapper men, I headed over to Mallory’s!

A true friend makes sure your heels don’t get stuck in the gravel on your wedding day!

As is so common in these COVID times, one bridesmaid was unable to make it – so they made sure a cardboard cutout represented her for all the formal photos!

Maison Lafitte was decked out thanks to Herbivore Floral Designs.

Uncommon Camellia took care of every little detail, like this sweet welcome table for guests as they entered the front lawn ceremony space.

The bridesmaids hid Mallory in the car as guests continued to arrive! So sweet.

After the ceremony, Mallory and Ben took about fifteen minutes to drive up to the lakefront for portraits – I’m so glad we had this time! It was short but we still got so many beautiful images.

The gorgeous cake was created by Zoe’s Bakery.

I hadn’t seen Groovy 7 perform in a long time, and was reminded of how talented they all are!

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of such a special day, Mallory and Ben! Congratulations!
