Autumn Elopement in New Orleans City Park

Ashley + Christian originally planned to have a larger wedding on 10/10/20, but with all the changes 2020 has brought they ended up getting married in the sweetest elopement this autumn in New Orleans City Park!

Their sign was made by Christian’s mom (from a bathroom cabinet door!).

Ashley and Christian had their closest family and friends in attendance. With 10/10/2o being such a popular date, it was so fun to see all the other clusters of family and friends celebrating marriages this day!

Ashley was absolutely stunning in her Grace Loves Lace dress – and those gorgeous flowers!

STUNNING, isn’t she?! They picked the absolute best time to get married in City Park – despite our concerns earlier in the week there would be thunderstorms due to a hurricane, it turned out to be the most gorgeous day we could have imagined.

Langles Bridge was the perfect romantic backdrop for their ceremony!

Ashley and Christian moved to New Orleans together recently from Denver, and Ashley mentioned in her vows the myriad of choices they’ve made to be together – and how they both commit to continue choosing each other, every day. It was extremely meaningful.

Grandparents and other friends and family were there in spirit (and on FaceTime!).

These sunset portraits were captured just feet from their ceremony site – City Park was showing off for us!

The guests celebrated with champagne and beignets from Cafe du Monde – the perfect combination.

Congratulations, Ashley + Christian! Can’t wait for our larger celebration together next year!
