Wondering where to stay in New Orleans when you elope?! New Orleans has several gorgeous hotels and the choices can be overwhelming. Here’s a rundown of my favorite four hotels in New Orleans!
The Catahoula, now owned by Selina, has simple rooms with everything you’d need and is priced to match. With a pisco bar downstairs and a rooftop bar upstairs, you’ll have no problems finding your evening cocktail! Enjoy it in the gorgeous courtyard, or take it on a walk downtown!
The Sully Mansion is my favorite place to stay in the city and also one of my favorite places to visit! In the garden district a block off the streetcar line, the Sully provides a delicious breakfast (and two cute pups to pet!). The innkeeper Melinda is a lovely person with an incredible sense of design (she lives on the very tip top floor, and you can see her home featured in Apartment Therapy!). The Ace recently opened their New Orleans location and the building is absolutely stunning. They’ve got an amazing rooftop pool, a Stumptown Coffee, the incredible Josephine Estelle restaurant (my absolute favorite dish is the bucatini), and a music venue called Three Keys that allows you to see New Orleans music without even leaving the building!
The Eliza Jane has one of the most beautiful hotel lobbies (and courtyards!) I’ve ever seen! Located downtown and originally a newspaper (the first female owned, in fact!), there are so many unique details of that history featured in their renovation. A delicious French restaurant located on the first floor is a must for dinner and drinks, and many of the rooms come with luxurious bathtubs and relaxing sitting areas.
