Wedding Belles is a favorite retail shop of mine in New Orleans, and I absolutely loved hanging out with them at work for the morning to take these photos! Choosing a wedding dress is a big (and often times, emotional) decision and Amy and her team are experts at guiding you through the process. I wanted to capture not just their store (which is LOVELY), but also the way they interact with each other and with their clients.
Amy is such a kind, caring, multi-talented, intelligent woman and she attracts the most lovely women with similar attribute to work on her team! I love going into Wedding Belles not just because it’s one of the most gorgeous and creative spaces I’ve seen, but because everyone is so warm – and also on the ball!
I was able to photograph a typical fitting – I wanted to show all these amazing ladies at work and allow brides to visualize exactly what their visit would be like before stepping foot in the store. Wedding Belles has the most amazing collection of gowns – from simple and traditional, to unique and whimsical.
These curtains in the dressing rooms were too fun to play around with!
Wedding Belles also has veils and all sorts of accessories you can try on as you’re trying dresses.
It truly takes a village! Ha!
