Alison + Shane flew in for their New Orleans sunset City Park engagement photos! Every time I meet a destination couple it’s a bit of a mystery, especially the groom! Typically I Skype or talk on the phone with the bride, and I’m so thankful for mediums such as Instagram and Facebook where we can get to know each other quite a bit before meeting for their engagement session. I loved meeting Alison + Shane in real life for the first time (they came all the way from PA!) – they are just as sweet as they are gorgeous!
I brought my friend and assistant (friendsistant, if you will) Cayce with me on this session because the weather forecast looked like RAIN RAIN RAIN but we never needed to open an umbrella! I’m thankful the rain held out for us and all the moisture in the air created a soft warm glow around everything.
Alison + Shane are getting married this fall at Oak Alley and I’m so ready to celebrate with them!
