When Chris + Christine reached out about their New Orleans elopement, the courthouse was not the plan! We had scheduled some time at Audubon Park for their ceremony, but we were thwarted by a large thunderstorm that overtook the entire city. Their Plan B to get married at the courthouse with Christine’s boss (a judge) officiating worked out great!
As you all know, I really enjoy shooting weddings and elopements. I love golden hour, all the details, etc. – but my absolute favorite thing about photographing the beginning of marriages is the love between two people and their family and friends surrounding them. Chris + Christine’s wedding didn’t have custom tablecloths or a breathtaking setting – but the love was overwhelming.
Just their closest family and friends attended.
This is the sweetest ceremony I’ve had the pleasure to witness in quite some time. Thank you for being such a clear reminder of why I do what I do, Chris + Christine! I know you will have the best of lives together.
