I absolutely love shooting small weddings – they are so sweet, so intimate, and so meaningful – and this wedding at the Lake House outside of New Orleans was no exception. In fact, Chang O + Maria really set the bar high.
Chang O + Maria met during their medical residency in New York City. Chang O is from South Korea, and Maria is from Colombia – their families met for the first time the week of the wedding.

The Lake House is such a unique venue and right across the street from the lake – perfect for wedding portraits!
It was a beautiful day of cultures coming together for love. I was so honored and truly thankful to be a part of it!

After the ceremony, three languages were spoken for the toasts! Maria’s father gave a toast in Spanish, which Maria translated to Chang O in English, which he then translated to his family in Korean!
